Der Entwickler Alexey Strakh hat für die gMaps Pro für Windows Phone 7 ein Update auf die Version 1.11 zum Download bereitgestellt. Das Update bringt neben vielen Verbesserungen auch eine Neuerung, die mich Besonderes freut:
GMaps Pro App für Windows Phone 7 unterstützt ab sofort auch Googles Ortungsdienst Latitude.

Starting from v1.10 we have add theme support and zoom buttons, fixed some issues and update application art.
We have added:
- Zoom buttons.
- Geo location information for each found object.
- Support for both Black and White themes.
- Fixed critical errors with zoom deep zoom, search details processing and your position and movement animation.
In addition to previous list:
- Map navigation with different layers support.
- GPS tracking (with movement Direction, Speed and Navigation type information).
- Local and business search with multiple results, auto-complete and routes.
- Routes search with route statistics (include A-B routes).
- Traffics and Public Transit layers.
- Ability to make map snapshot and send it by email, facebook, etc.
- Driving Mode with auto-rotation.
- Tap to find.
- Imperial <> Metric system switch.
