The Windows Home Server Power Pack 1 update is available now

Das Windows Home Server Team Blog meldet dass der Windows Home Server Power Pack 1 freigegeben wurde und ab sofort heruntergeladen werden kann! Die Englische Version ist ab sofort verfügbar. Die Deutsche, Spanische und Französische Versionen werden bald folgen. Windows Home Server Power Pack 1 wird automatisch heruntergeladen wenn auf ihrem Windows Home Server die Funktion "Automatische Updates" aktiviert ist.

Die folgende Datei steht im Microsoft Download Center zum Herunterladen zur Verfügung:

  This update installs Windows Home Server Power Pack 1.  If you want to install Power Pack 1 before it is available on Windows Update, you can download this update package and then manually apply it.

To apply this update, you must have Windows Home Server installed. If you have a beta version or a release candidate version of Windows Home Server Power Pack 1 installed, you must uninstall these preliminary versions before you install this final version of Windows Home Server Power Pack 1.

This update replaces the updates that are described in the following Microsoft Knowledge Base articles:

• 941913 - An update package is available to improve the setup and configuration of Windows Home Server
• 941914 - An update for Windows Home Server lets you obtain a trusted certificate for your Windows Home Server computer during remote access configuration of your personalized domain
• 950190 - Files on a home computer that are compressed by using NTFS compression may not be backed up correctly by Windows Home Server
• 943447 - External storage devices are unexpectedly formatted during the initial configuration of Windows Home Server
• 946146 - You may randomly receive a false expiration notice that prompts you to activate Windows Home Server
