Sun ODF Plugin 3.0 for Microsoft Office Available Now

Das Sun ODF Plugin 3.0 for Microsoft Office ist ein Paket von Import- und Exportfiltern, die die Word-, Excel- und PowerPoint-Versionen 2000 bis 2007 in die Lage versetzen, OpenDocument-Dateien aus OpenOffice und StarOffice zu lesen und zu speichern. Bei Office 2007 muss allerdings zuerst das Office 2007 Service Pack 1 (SP1) installiert werden.

Nach der Installation finden sie in den Dialogfenstern Öffnen und Speichern von Word neue Einträge zum Öffnen und Speichern von .odt und .ott Dateien, bzw. in Excel und Powerpoint eine neue Symbolleiste zum Öffnen und Exportieren von .ods und .odp Dateien.
