Das ODF Plug-In 3.1 für Microsoft Office ist ein Paket von Import- und Exportfiltern, die die Word-, Excel- und PowerPoint-Versionen 2000, 2002, 2003 und 2007 in die Lage versetzen, OpenDocument-Dateien aus OpenOffice und StarOffice zu lesen und zu speichern.

    Sun Microsystems hat das ODF Plug-In für Microsoft Office 2000, 2002, 2003 und 2007 in einer neuen Version veröffentlicht. Im Download Center von Sun Microsystems steht die Version 3.2 des kostenlosen Sun ODF Plug-In 3.2 für Microsoft Office ab sofort zum Download bereit.

Nach der Installation finden sie in den Dialogfenstern Öffnen und Speichern von Word neue Einträge zum Öffnen und Speichern von .odt und .ott Dateien, bzw. in Excel und PowerPoint 2000, XP, 2003 und 2007 eine neue Symbolleiste zum Öffnen und Exportieren von .ods und .odp Dateien.

Sun ODF Plugin 3.1 for Microsoft Office - New & Enhanced Features

The new release of the ODF Plugin, version 3.1, supports ODF 1.2 and improves the import and export of ODF files into Microsoft Office, increasing the interoperability of the plugin. Also new to this release is the ability for users to disable the 'Registration and Update' feature. This version supports Microsoft Office 2007 (Service Pack 1 or higher) and is available in 16 different languages.
