Silverlight 2 Release Candidate 0 (Silverlight 2 RC0) is now available to developers for testing purposes and to help prepare your Silverlight 2 Beta 2 applications for the release of Silverlight 2. This release should not be used for launching Silverlight 2 applications for the general public. To get started with Silverlight 2 RC0, please see the following information and links to downloads below.

• Microsoft Silverlight Tools for Visual Studio 2008 SP1
  This will install the necessary Visual Studio updates, Silverlight project templates, RC0 developer runtime, and SDK.

• Microsoft Expression Blend 2 Service Pack 1 Preview
  This version of Expression Blend is targeted to work with the RC0 developer runtime for Silverlight.
