LifeCam 2.9 and LifeChat 1.3 Software for Windows 7 Release Candidate

The LifeCam software for Windows(R) 7 operating system download and installation process can take up to 30 minutes so you should schedule accordingly. Always install the software using the Setup program instead of installing the drivers directly. This download and installation process will take approximately 30 minutes to complete and you will not be prompted for an action for several minutes. Do not click "Install" more than once.

LifeCam 2.9 Beta software Known Issues

  • Avermedia tuning cards may disrupt the video stream from your LifeCam.
  • The Windows Live Messenger call button on the webcams does not work if Windows Live Messenger is already running.
  • AMCap 2.0 does not work on Windows 7 (AMCap 9.1 does work).
