Internet Explorer Sicherheitsupdate MS08-078 von 17. Dezember 2008

Microsoft hat ein außerplanmäßiges Sicherheitsupdate für Internet Explorer veröffentlicht. Dieses Sicherheitsupdate wird für Internet Explorer 5.01, Internet Explorer 6, Internet Explorer 6 Service Pack 1 und Internet Explorer 7 als kritisch eingestuft. Microsoft empfiehlt allen Anwendern, das Update so schnell wie möglich zu installieren.

Dieses Sicherheitsupdate behebt eine öffentlich gemeldete Sicherheitsanfälligkeit. Wenn ein Benutzer eine speziell gestaltete Webseite mit Internet Explorer anzeigt, kann diese Sicherheitsanfälligkeit Remotecodeausführung ermöglichen.
