Facebook stellt im iTunes App Store - neben der offiziellen Facebook App für iPhone - ab sofort die Version 1.0 der eigenen kostenlosen Chat-Applikation für Apples iOS-Geräte iPhone, iPad und iPod touch zum Download bereit. Die Facebook Messenger App steht zunächst nur im US-amerikanischen iTunes App Store zur Verfügung. Um die App dennoch herunterladen zu können, benötigt ihr einen US-Account für den US-amerikanischen iTunes App Store.
