Der Chiphersteller AMD hat mit AMD Catalyst 11.4a und 11.4b, zwei weitere Hotfix-Treiber für die neuen AMD Radeon™ HD 6790 Series für Windows XP und Linux freigegeben und zum Download bereitgestellt. Für Windows 7 und Vista Nutzer steht mit dem AMD Catalyst 11.4 Preview Driver bereits länger ein Treiber mit AMD Radeon™ HD 6790 Unterstützung zum Download bereit.
