Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) is now available

Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) steht über Windows Update und das Microsoft Download Center zur Verfügung.

Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) enthält alle zuvor veröffentlichten Updates für das Betriebssystem. Das Update enthält auch eine kleine Anzahl an neuen Funktionen, die die Benutzeroberfläche des Betriebssystems nicht wesentlich beeinflussen. Beim Bezug über Windows Update schwankt die Downloadgröße, beträgt jedoch normalerweise 70 MB, abhängig von der Konfiguration des Computers. Über das Download Center beträgt die Downloadgröße ungefähr 315MB. Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) ist kumulativ, daher können die Benutzer Windows XP Service Pack 3 (SP3) auf Windows XP SP1 oder SP2 installieren und steht nur für x86-Editionen von Windows XP zur Verfügung.
