Microsoft Pro Photo Tools Version 1.0 Released

Microsoft just released a free program for manipulating the metadata of photographs, including advanced geocoding with Virtual Earth. Microsoft Pro Photo Tools Version 1.0 is a Windows application that allows photographers to add, change, and delete common metadata properties for digital photographs. It also allows users to add geographical identification metadata to images, translate string based geographical identifiers to latitude/longitude coordinates, import track routes and displaying images with geographical information on map view.

With Microsoft Pro Photo Tools, you can geotag your photos, view and edit metadata, and more using Windows Imaging Components and Windows Live Local.
