Microsoft Patch Day März 2010 - Zwei Updates angekündigt [Updated 09. März 2010]

Die Updates sind mittlerweile verfügbar und können wahlweise über die Windows-eigene automatische Update-Funktion, über Microsoft Update oder über das Microsoft Download Center bezogen werden.

Bekanntlich stellt Microsoft jeweils am zweiten Dienstag des Monats Updates und Fehlerkorrekturen für die eigenen Softwareprodukte zur Verfügung.

Am nächsten Dienstag, den 9. März 2010 steht der nächste planmäßige Microsoft Patch Day an. Dem Microsoft Security Bulletin Advance Notification for March 2010 ist zu entnehmen das der Softwarekonzern am kommenden Dienstag Zwei Security Bulletins veröffentlichen wird.

Damit sollen insgesamt 8 Sicherheitslücken in Systemkomponenten des Windows-Betriebssystems und Microsoft Office und Software geschlossen werden deren Risiko Microsoft als "hoch" einstuft.

Zur betroffenen Software gehören Windows XP, Vista und 7 sowie Excel 2002, Excel 2003, Excel 2007, Office 2004 für Mac, Office 2008 für Mac, Open XML File Format Converter für Mac, Excel Viewer, Office Compatibility Pack für Word, Excel, und PowerPoint 2007 File Formats und SharePoint Server 2007.

Windows-Tool zum Entfernen bösartiger Software

Gleichzeitig wird Microsoft eine aktualisierte Version des Windows-Tools zum Entfernen bösartiger Software in Windows Update, Microsoft Update, Windows Server Update Services und dem Download Center veröffentlichen.
