Sun ODF Plugin 1.2 for Microsoft Office Available Now

Das "Sun ODF Plugin for Microsoft Office" erweitert Microsoft Office 2000/XP/2003/2007 um die Möglichkeit, Dateien im OpenDocument-Format (ODF) zu öffnen und zu bearbeiten. Es kommt mit Word, Excel und PowerPoint in den Versionen 2000/XP/2003/2007 zurecht, bei Office 2007 muss allerdings zuerst das 2007 Microsoft Office System Service Pack 1 (SP1) installiert werden.

• MS08-018 - Sicherheitsanfälligkeit in Microsoft Project kann Remotecodeausführung ermöglichen (950183)
  Dieses Update behebt eine vertraulich gemeldete Sicherheitsanfälligkeit in Microsoft Office Project, die Remotecodeausführung ermöglichen kann, wenn ein Benutzer eine speziell gestaltete Project-Datei öffnet.
• MS08-021 - Sicherheitsanfälligkeit in GDI kann Remotecodeausführung ermöglichen (948590)
  Dieses Update behebt zwei vertraulich gemeldete Sicherheitsanfälligkeiten in GDI. Die Ausnutzung einer dieser beiden Sicherheitsanfälligkeiten kann Remotecodeausführung ermöglichen, wenn ein Benutzer eine speziell gestaltete EMF- oder WMF-Bilddatei öffnet.
• MS08-022 - Sicherheitsanfälligkeit in den Skriptmodulen VBScript und JScript kann Remotecodeausführung ermöglichen (944338)
  Dieses Update behebt eine vertraulich gemeldete Sicherheitsanfälligkeit in den Skriptmodulen VBScript und JScript in Windows.
• MS08-023 - Sicherheitsupdate von ActiveX-Kill Bits (948881)
  Dieses Update behebt eine vertraulich gemeldete Sicherheitsanfälligkeit für ein Microsoft-Produkt. Dieses Update enthält auch ein Kill Bit für das Yahoo! Music Jukebox-Produkt.
• MS08-024 - Kumulatives Sicherheitsupdate für Internet Explorer (947864)
  Dieses Update behebt eine vertraulich gemeldete Sicherheitsanfälligkeit.
• MS08-020 - Sicherheitsanfälligkeit in DNS-Client kann Spoofing ermöglichen (945553)
