Microsoft Patch Day Juli 2010 - Vier Updates angekündigt [Updated am 14-07-2010]

Die angekündigten Updates sind mittlerweile verfügbar und können wahlweise über die Windows-eigene automatische Update-Funktion, über Microsoft Update oder über das Microsoft Download Center bezogen werden.

Desweiteren wurden die folgenden nicht sicherheitsrelevanten Updates und Tools für die Microsoft Office Suites veröffentlicht:

Bekanntlich stellt Microsoft jeweils am zweiten Dienstag des Monats Updates und Fehlerkorrekturen für die eigenen Softwareprodukte zur Verfügung.

Am nächsten Dienstag, den 13. Juli 2010 steht der nächste Microsoft Patch Day an. Dem Microsoft Security Bulletin Advance Notification for July 2010 zufolge wird der Softwarekonzern vier Security Bulletins veröffentlichen.

Die Updates sollen insgesamt 5 Sicherheitslücken in Systemkomponenten des Windows-Betriebssystems sowie in Microsoft Office Suites, über die ein Angreifer im schlimmsten Fall Code in das attackierte System einschleusen und ausführen kann, geschlossen werden.

Microsoft gibt die Gefahrenstufe zwischen Kritisch und Hoch an.
